Their daycare, though not as popular as the one nearby, still gets business. Still does well selling off the 'forgotten' eggs of trainers that left their pokemon. Still serves as a place to drop off people's pokemon for the day. Still does good work undercover as a breeding facility. He's no longer a breed with Rocket, having moved on to more difficult tasks within the organization, but sometimes....[break][break]

Well sometimes he covers shifts. Easy to do. He's familiar with the operations, and he always sought out easy money. Today he is closing, and there's no one else left. All pokemon are stored or sleeping. All eggs accounted for and logged. His report for the night sent, and the cleaning- the cleaning is left for opening. He couldn't be assed and it looked good enough. [break][break]

The technicians had long since left, having gotten their last diagnostics on pokemon health in hours ago. Still, as Mint went to open the door and pull in the sign for the day he's approached by a stranger. Gold contacts reflect the light from the street lamps, and messy blonde hair is pulled up into a high ponytail for work. "OH- so sorry, the facility is closed for the night." he explained, customer service voice and smile at the ready. At his feet, a pink and blue zigzagoon waited and stared up at the woman.

Dione stared at the building. A desperate look on her face, approaching as she looked almost defeated. Before a stern look came back in her eyes. A refusal.

"Please, take them." In her arms was an injured Paras, it's mushroom was rotting off, it was bandaged, it looked very banged up. "Please. I've tried everything- I don't.. I don't have the ability to help them. I just.." The look of hurt on her face, seeing how she failed the poor thing in her arms.

"I... I run the rehab... I just don't have the proper way to care- please. He'll die if you don't."

He blinked slowly, his partner sniffing up at the woman. She seemed desperate. And the poor Paras in her hands too. "How are you a rehab without...?" he trailed off as his pokemon barked, dashing back inside and turning on a light without approval. "Zabaglione-" he began, words stern before he heard a small whine.

"Sorry, I'm not exactly the best help." he warned allowing her entry but locking the door and turning around the open sign for closed. "I have...pain killers, er numbing gel. Some honey. I think they'd like that, right?" he offered as he set aside the broom and led her further back. It's all normal, for what its worth. Just the usual amenities needed in a daycare. The pokemon under care were tucked in, sleeping in their various hiding spots in the playroom. Another room incubates eggs waiting for trainers to return.

Even further is the break room, and a place to examine pokemon. "Sorry, but, what is it you need from us that you can't get in a rehabilitation facility?"

Dione did not care at the moment. Walking inside, she went to wherever Mint pointed her to for the items he did have. Shame was clear on her face, that she was failing this pokemon. Setting it down gently, she looked over towards him. "..." Silence came, as if she did not know what to say, or felt embarrassed.

Without another word though, she returned to the paras. "This is going to hurt buddy, I'm sorry." she whispered, snapping off the rotting mushroom, getting the tiniest shriek from the bug. Gently she applied the numbing gel and offered the painkillers. This might be able to subdue the pain at least for now.

THen came the honey, to try and give it a little food.

Finally facing Mint now, she glanced down. "I don't have the equipment. I fund the place myself... I need better medicine."

Mint doesn't rush her, and Zabaglione is quiet as he settles in a corner on a small bed. He spins a couple of times before settling down. Mint meanwhile, goes to collect the offerings. He picks up a small blanket for comfort, some Honey for soft food. The painkillers are next, little white pills that he makes the effort of crushing and mixing into some Honey for easy ingestion. He turned his back to work, as Dione prepared to cut off the mushroom. [break][break]

He gives it a few seconds before turning back, offering the little snack to the woman. "What do you mean you fund it yourself?" he asked quickly before pausing and backtracking. "Who are you?" There's a polite smile before he offers his own introduction. "I'm Fiore. I part time at this daycare." He nodded over at his partner. "That's Zaba, he loves people." he added. Upon seeing that the trio were relaxing a bit the zigzagoon comes over, crawling and jumping to get proper purchase onto where the Paras was sitting and staring intently, tail wagging. "Oh! Here-" he added handing over the blanket he'd procured.

Questions, so many questions. But it was fair- she was being heavily impatient. Mostly, it was her concern for the pokemon over these questions. He was helping her, so she could not be to angry about this. Any help was appreciated.

"I'm Dione, I fund it by doing odd jobs around Hoenn, it's just... not enough." She muttered, nothing was ever enough. Last thing she wanted to do was go to a loan shark, since the last one she spoke too offered her some rather. Distasteful. Payments.

"I'm sorry if I seem very rude, it is just very stressful."

"You- You fund it by yourself?" Mint's surprise is genuine, even if his persona isn't. He chuckled as she apologized, soft and barely there. "Don't mention it." he said as he looked over the poor Paras. [break][break]

"Nice to meet you, Dione. Glad you caught us." he said. The little bug seemed to be breathing slowly but perhaps calmer. The numbing gel and the pain meds were probably starting to kick in. "How long have you been doing that? Self funding, I mean." A whole rehabilitation center? By herself no less? Easy mark as any for a loan shark, which he had been. He'd closed up that kind of business long ago though.

With the paras in the best care she could give it, she finally relaxed. If a smidge- she still seemed on edge. Looking over at Mint, frowning at him. "I've been doing it for a year now. I collect natural herbs to help reduce cost, but as you see I need proper medicines to treat extreme cases like this..."

Looking at the paras, she gently stroked it's claw. "It's okay, we'll get you better. I promise." With a shaky breath, she finally faced Mint.

"I'm Dione, I'm a bug type specialist you could say."
